BKU leader Rakesh Tikait remarked that All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asaduddin Owaisi and BJP were a "team", adding that the farmers needed to understand their moves and called Asaduddin Owaisi the "chacha Jaan" of BJP.
