क्या विनायक दामोदर सावरकर को मान्यता दिलाने के लिए अब गांधी के नाम का सहारा लेना पड़ रहा है? दरअसल, रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने बयान दिया है कि सावरकर की अंग्रेजों के सामने दया याचिका, महात्मा गांधी के कहने पर दी थी. राजनाथ के मुताबिक, उन्होंने कानून में मौजूद विकल्पों के तहत दया याचिका डाली है, जिसे माफी नहीं कहा जा सकता. उधर, RSS प्रमुख मोहन भागवत ने भी कहा है कि आज हिंदुत्व की बात करने वाले सावरकर को बदनाम किया गया है. इसी मुद्दे पर चर्चा के दौरान भारत सरकार सूचना आयुक्त उदय माहुरकर ने सावरकर को लेकर राजनाथ स‍िंह के बयान पर अपनी राय रखी. देखिए ये वीडियो.
