बनारस को बताया 'मुर्दों का शहर', ट्विटरवालों ने सुनाई खरी-खोटी

उत्तर प्रदेश चुनावों के आखिरी चरण के कारण समूचे देश की नजर वाराणसी पर है, आस्था के साथ-साथ वाराणसी आजकल चुनावी अखाड़ा भी बना हुआ है. वहीं एक अमेरिकी चैनल ने वाराणसी को 'मौत का शहर' बताया, जिसके बाद ट्विटर पर लोगों ने चैनल को जमकर खरी खोटी सुनाई.

अमेरिकी चैनल सीएनएन ने अपने आने वाले शो 'बिलिवर' का टीजर अपने ट्विटर अकाउंट पर साझा किया, जिसमें बनारस को 'मुर्दों का शहर' बताया गया. सीएनएन की इस सीरीज के कुल छह हिस्से होंगे, जिसे धार्मिक स्कॉलर जिज्ञासु रेजा असलान होस्ट करेंगे.
