धर्मांतरण रैकेट की तह तक जाने के लिए यूपी पुलिस की जांच जारी है. अब तक पूछताछ में जो कुछ सामने आया है उसके मुताबिक, हवाला और विदेशी चंदा कनेक्शन अहम रूप से सामने आया है. यूपी के अपर मुख्य सचिव गृह अवनीश अवस्थी के मुताबिक, उमर गौतम और जहांगीर की गिरफ्तारी के बाद यूपी सरकार और एटीएस को बड़ी जानकारी हाथ लगी है. अवनीश अवस्थी ने बताया कि धर्मांतरण प्रकरण में हवाला के जरिए पैसा आ रहा था. इसमें विदेशी खाते का ट्रांजेक्शन भी सामने आया है, देखें
