The Lok Sabha on Tuesday held debate on Narendra Modi government decision to revoke the autonomy of Jammu and Kashmir, after a Rajya Sabha discussion on Monday. The Rajya Sabha approved a resolution scrapping provisions of Article 370 of the Constitution that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir (J-K), and passed another Bill approving the bifurcation of the state into two Union territories, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
