नेहरु-गांधी परिवार की भरोसेमंद शीला दीक्षित के राजनीतिक सफर पर एक नजर

Sheila Dikshit, a loyalist of the Gandhi family, passed away at the age of 81 in New Delhi on Saturday. Sheila Dikshit was one of the tallest leaders of the Congress who had the distinction of being longest serving chief minister of Delhi and giving the national capital Delhi its modern look. Politicians from across the parties paid tributes to the favourite chief minister of Delhi. First elected to the Lok Sabha in 1984 from Kannauj dsitrict of Uttar Pradesh, Sheila Dikshit served as a Minister under Rajiv Gandhi as the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and later as a Minister of State in the Prime Minister office.
