24 घंटे की कयासबाजियों के बाद आखिरकार कांग्रेस ने पंजाब में अपना नया मुख्यमंत्री चुन लिया. चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी पंजाब के नये मुख्यमंत्री होंगे. पंजाब कांग्रेस प्रभारी हरीश रावत ने ट्वीट करके चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी के नाम की घोषणा की. और बतायाकि कांग्रेस विधायक दल ने सर्वसम्मति से चन्नी को अपना नेता चुन लिया है. हालांकि, चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी को मुख्यमंत्री चुना जाना भी अप्रत्याशित रहा. अबतक बीजेपी के बारे में कहा जाता था कि जिन नामों की चर्चा होती है. वो कभी मुख्यमंत्री नहीं बनता. अब पंजाब में कांग्रेस ने भी कुछ ऐसा ही किया है. देखें वीडियो.
