गाजीपुर में कांस्टेबल की मौत पर समाजवादी पार्टी के अध्यक्ष और पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव ने योगी आदित्यनाथ सरकार पर हमला बोला. उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने लॉ एंड ऑर्डर बर्बाद कर दिया है. गाजीपुर विवाद को प्रशासन चाहता तो रोक सकता था. प्रधानमंत्री का कार्यक्रम था, वहां पर इतनी फोर्स थी, फिर भी ये हादसा हुआ. जहां योगी जी कहते है कि ठोक दो.. तो कभी पुलिस को नहीं समझ नहीं आता कि किसको ठोके और कभी जनता को नहीं समझ आ रहा है कि किसे ठोके. दोनों कंफ्यूज हैं. ट्रांसफर से बचने के लिए पुलिस अधिकारी एनकांउटर कर रहे हैं.

Uttar Pradesh Yogi government is on back foot after the killing of a policeman in Gazipur district. This is second incident of brutal murder by mob within a month after the bulandshahar incident where inspector Subodh was killed by mob. This has provided fuel to the state opposition for attacks on chief minister Yogi Adityanath. Ex CM Akhilesh Yadav directly attacks on Yogi for his encounter spree. He said, this is result of CM insensitive statement on giving free hands for encounters. He termed it as Thok do. Law and order was never as bad as these days in UP under BJP leadership. It was the Chief Minister, he further said, who was indirectly behind the attack on the constable. The incident has happened because of what the Chief Minister keeps on saying thok do means shoot them. He said, referring to the growing number of police encounters in the state.
