Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday favoured imposing lockdown and strict restrictions in the state in the wake of the rapidly rising number of Covid-19 cases and the worsening situation at hospitals. Participating in the all-party meet, senior BJP leader and former CM Devendra Fadnavis said while taking any decision, the government must think about the common people and businesses, and they should be provided with a financial relief package.
