कोरोना की त्रासदी में लोग शहरों को लेकर रोना रो रहे थे. दावा किया जा रहा था कि शहरों में तमाम तरह की सहूलियत मौजूद हैं. लेकिन हमने देखा कि शहरों में बेड्स की किल्लत, अस्पतालों में भर्ती में होने में आ रहीं मुश्किलें, लंबी कतारें दिखीं. शहरों का ये हाल तो कोरोना वायरस ने गांव में दस्तक दे दी है. वहां की स्थितियां कितनी भयावह होने वाली हैं. हिंदुस्तान की कुल आबादी में से करीब 90 करोड़ आबादी गांव में बसती है. गांव में मेडिकल सुविधाएं कितनी हैं, ये हर कोई जानता है. अगर शहरों में ऑक्सीजन नहीं है तो गांव तक कैसे पहुंचेगा? गांवों में कोरोना कितना कहर मचा रहा है, उसकी झलक हमें अलग-अलग शहरों में तैरती लाशों को देखकर मिल रही है. देखें वारदात.

The coronavirus infection is now spreading at full pace in rural India. The second wave of Covid-19 has exposed the poor health care system in big cities.
