Gujarat Election 2022: गुजरात के राजकोट की राजनीति थोड़ी हटकर है. वैसे तो राजकोट जिले में 7 विधानसभा सीट हैं, जिनमें 4 सीटों पर बीजेपी का कब्जा है. जबकि 3 सीट पर कांग्रेस ने कमाल दिखाया था. लेकिन राजकोट पश्चिम विधानसभा सीट सूबे की सबसे वीआईपी सीट है. उसकी वजह है राजकोट पश्चिम विधानसभा सीट से चुनाव जीतने वाला कैंडिडेट, प्रधानमंत्री, मुख्यमंत्री और राज्यपाल तक बन चुका है. 2002 के उपचुनाव में नरेंद्र मोदी इसी सीट से पहली बार जीतकर मुख्यमंत्री बने थे. देखें मलिका मल्होत्रा के साथ बुलेट रिपोर्टर.
Gujarat Election 2022: Politics of Rajkot is a bit different. There are 7 assembly seats in Rajkot district, out of which 4 seats are occupied by BJP, whereas Congress have 3 seats. But Rajkot West assembly seat is the most VIP seat in the state. The reason for this is that the candidate who won the election from Rajkot West assembly seat, has become the Prime Minister, Chief Minister and even the Governor.
