Govatsa Dwadashi is celebrated one day before Dhanteras and on the 12th day of the Krishna Paksha in the Ashwin month of the traditional Hindu calendar. In 2018, Govatsa Dwadashi will be observed on November 4. On this day Hindu devotees worship ‘Nandini’, the divine cow.
