Jailed Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has landed in a fresh row after an audio clip, in which the convicted leader could be heard offering a ministerial berth to one MLA if he abstains from voting in the election to Speaker of the Bihar Assembly, went viral. Amid this row, the Jharkhand government has ordered a probe into the audio clip controversy. It has also moved Yadav to a private ward of RIMS hospital. The security in and around the hospital ward, where Lalu has been moved, has been tightened.
