एलएसी पर गलाने वाली बर्फ और ठंड के आगे लाल सेना के हौसले पस्त हो गए. अब वहां के सरकारी मुख पत्र ग्लोबल टाइम्स ने कहा है कि चीनी सेना पैंगोंग से हट रही है. हालांकि अखबार का ये भी दावा है कि भारतीय सैनिक भी पैंगोंग से हट रहे हैं लेकिन भारतीय सेना ने इस पर कुछ भी कहने से इनकार कर दिया. चीन ने रणनीतिक के लिहाज से अहम पैंगोंग झील के आसपास के इलाके से अपने सैनिकों को हटाना शुरू कर दिया है.
