समंदर में वर्चस्व की लड़ाई तेज हो गई है. दक्षिण चीन सागर में अमेरिका और चीन फिर आमने-सामने आ गए हैं. दरअसल चीन ने दावा किया है कि उसने दक्षिण चीन सागर में घुस आए अमेरिकी विध्वंसक जहाजों को खदेड़ दिया है. चाइना की तरफ से यह दावा पीपुल्स लिबरेशन आर्मी(पीएलए) ने किया है. दक्षिण चीन सागर कूटनीतिक और सैन्य लिहाज से दुनिया के सबसे महत्वपूर्ण इलाकों में से एक माना जाता है. यहां दबदबे की लड़ाई वर्षों से चलती रही है. देखें रिपोर्ट.
