Mumbai continues to be battered by heavy rainfall two days into the monsoon. Rainfall continued unabated overnight, triggering waterlogging in many parts of the city. Due to heavy rainfall in Mumbai and surrounding areas in the last few days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for the next two days.
