खबरें काम की: सिम स्वैप के फ्रॉड से रहें सचेत

सिम स्वैप का मतलब है सिम एक्सचेंज, जिसमें आपके फोन नंबर से एक नए सिम का रजिस्ट्रेशन कर लिया जाता है.  ऐसा होते ही आपका सिम कार्ड बंद हो जाता है और फोन से सिग्नल गायब हो जाते हैं. अब आपके नंबर से रजिस्टर हुए दूसरे सिम पर आने वाले ओटीपी को इस्तेमाल कर कोई दूसरा शख्स आपके पैसे अपने अकाउंट में ट्रांसफर कर लेता है. अगर आपको कोई मोबाइल सर्विस प्रोवाइडर कंपनी से ऐसी कॉल आती है जिसमें कहा जाए कि अगर आप अपना सिम अपडेट नहीं करते हैं तो जल्द ही ये डिऐक्टिवेट हो जाएगा, तो सावधान हो जाइए. ऐसी कॉल पर जानकारी देकर आप सिम स्वैप फ्रॉड का शिकार हो सकते हैं.

Sim Swap means SIM Exchange, in which a new SIM is registered with your phone number. As soon as this happens, your SIM card stops and the signal disappears from the phone. Now, using the OTP coming to the other SIM registered with your number, any other person transfers your money into your account.
