खबरें काम की: TRAI के नए नियम से DTH ग्राहक सस्ते में देख पाएंगे चैनल

केबल और DTH के ग्राहक जल्द ही अपनी पसंद के चैनल सस्ते में देख पाएंगे और इतना ही नहीं अब आपको उन चैनल के पैसे भी नहीं चुकाने होंगे, जिन्हें आप नहीं देखना चाहते.  यानी सिर्फ पसंदीदा चैनल के लिए ही पैसे देने होंगे. टेलिकॉम रेग्युलेटरी अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया यानी TRAI ने केबल और ब्रॉडकास्ट इंडस्ट्री के लिए नए नियम जारी कर दिए हैं. नए नियम के मुताबिक ग्राहकों को कोई चैनल जबरदस्ती नही दिखाया जाएगा. जो चैनल ग्राहक देखना चाहते हैं, वो उसी के लिए पैसा देंगे. हर चैनल के लिए तय एमआरपी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक यूजर गाइड में देना जरूरी होगा.

In a major relief to ndian consumer who still gets their daily dose of entertainment by watching television, telecom regulatory body TRAI has brought a major reform to make DTH and cable services more affordable. This order, which has been pending since 2016 due to a legal tussle between Star India and TRAI, was passed by the Supreme Court last month and is aimed at capping the maximum prices of channels to prevent consumers from being over charged. These guidelines will go into effect starting December 29 this year.
