14 लाख की भारतीय सेना में क‍ितनी महिलाएं द‍िखा रही दम, जान‍िए

भारतीय सेना में महिलाओं की भी अहम भूमिका है. परिवार को संभालने वाली महिलाएं अब सरहद पर दुश्मनों से जमकर लोहा ले रही हैं. आंकड़ों के अनुसार भारतीय थल सेना में कुल 1561, वायुसेना 1610, नौसेना 500 महिलाओं की संख्या है. अब तक शॉर्ट सर्विस कमीशन के महिलाएं 15 से 20 साल तक की ही सेवा दे पाती थी. लेकिन बदलते वक्त के और सुप्रीम कोर्ट के कुछ फैसलों के बाद भारत के तीनों सेनाओं में महिलाओं की संख्या काफी तेजी से बढ़ती जा रही है. देखें रिपोर्ट.

Indian women in forces plays an important role. According to statistics, there are 1561 womens in Indian Army, 1610 in Air Force, 500 in Navy . Till now women who comes through Short Service Commission in to the forces are able to serve only for 15 to 20 years.
