रामपुर में निकाय चुनाव में प्रचार के दौरान आजम खान ने इशारों में अतीक-अशरफ हत्याकांड का उठाया मुद्दा. खुद की हत्या की जताई आशंका. आजम खान ने कहा कि मुझसे और मेरे बच्चों से क्या चाहते हो? कोई आए कनपटी पर पिस्तौल रखे गोली मारे और चला जाए? बस इतना ही तो रह गया है.
