कैलिफोर्निया: जंगल में भीषण आग से हड़कंप

कैलिफोर्निया के सांता क्लैरिटा में लगी आग तेज हवा और गर्म मौसम जंगल में घी का काम कर रही है. आग तेजी से फैलती जा रही है. आग की वजह से पचास हजार लोगों को शहर छोड़ने पर मजबूर होना पड़ा है. तस्वीरें देख सकते हैं किस तरह धू-धूकर आग जल रही है.  दमकलकर्मी आग बुझाने में लगे हैं.  आग तीन हजार हेक्टेयर इलाके में लगी है.

The skies over San Francisco are fairly clear as I write this on Friday, but that could change in the coming hours as winds blow south from the massive Kincade Fire up in the Sonoma County wine country. Likewise, Angelinos are increasingly threatened by flames and smoke from the growing Tick Fire near Santa Clarita, north of the city. Despite hyper-vigilance by firefighting agencies and temporary power cuts by Pacific Gas & Electric and Southern California Edison, wildfires have exploded up and down hot, dry, windy California. Massive blazes are also raging just south of the border in Mexico.
